Anutin said Indonesia and Thailand needed to increase cooperation in combating transnational crime. The focus includes online scams, human trafficking, and narcotics trafficking.

Online scams are online scams that use the internet, messaging apps, social media, or digital platforms to ensnare victims.

"I propose that we deepen cooperation in law enforcement, intelligence, and capacity building to address these issues," said Anutin.

According to Anutin, since last year Thailand has helped repatriate more than 1,000 Indonesian citizens from online scam centers in the Thai border area.

"Since last year, Thailand has facilitated the safe repatriation of more than 1,000 Indonesian citizens from online fraud centers located in the Thai border areas to their home countries," he said.

Transnational crime means a crime involving more than one country, both in terms of perpetrators, victims, networks, and money flows.

Anutin said Indonesia and Thailand also needed to encourage stronger ASEAN regional cooperation to combat online fraud.

In addition to online scams, Thailand is ready to increase cooperation in eradicating cross-border wildlife trafficking.

In the field of security, Anutin welcomed the participation of the Thai National Security Council in the Third Security Dialogue to be held by Indonesia next month.

Anutin also proposed that Indonesia host the next Joint Commission Meeting at the level of Foreign Ministers in the near future.

According to Anutin, the forum is important to ensure there is a concrete follow-up to the results of the Indonesia-Thailand meeting in Jakarta.
