Police Deploy Forensic Team to Investigate Pullman Central Park Hotel Fire

Until now, said Reza, the Indonesian Automatic Fingerprint Identification System (Inafis) team from the West Jakarta Metro Police has descended to the location for initial examination.

Previously, a fire hit the Pullman Hotel located on Jalan Letjen S. Parman, Tanjung Duren Selatan Village, Grogol Petamburan District, West Jakarta, on Saturday morning.

The West Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat), Syaiful Kahfi, said his party moved quickly to the location after receiving a report of the incident at 07.59 WIB.

"Officers were immediately dispatched one minute after the report was received," said Syaiful.

A total of 14 fire trucks and 70 personnel were deployed to the location to put out the fire.

The extinguishing operation, which began intensively at 08.05 WIB, managed to localize the fire in a short time.

"Currently, the situation at the location of the fire has been under control and officers are still carrying out the cooling process since 08.15 WIB to ensure that there are no remaining fire points that could potentially trigger a follow-up fire," said Syaiful.
