Fire in the Pullman Central Park Hotel Comes from P2 Parking, 12 Fire Trucks Deployed

JAKARTA - Piket officer from the West Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) Suroto said his party deployed 12 fire trucks and 75 personnel to handle the fire that occurred in the parking building of the Pullman Central Park Hotel, Grogol, West Jakarta.

Suroto said the damkar party immediately went to the scene of the crime (TKP) after receiving a direct report to the West Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-Directorate from a building security officer (security) at around 07.50 WIB.

"We received it from security who came directly to the office, coincidentally, from his information we immediately went to the crime scene," said Suroto as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, August 1.

According to the report, the fire was first seen on the outside of the second floor (P2) of the parking building. The fire then spread to the top of the building before being controlled by officers.

Security officers learned of the incident after seeing the fire, then immediately reported it to the fire department.

Meanwhile, the provisional cause of the fire is still unknown and further investigation is needed.

"The suspected cause is still unknown, it is still under investigation for the cause," said Suroto.

The fire extinguishing process went smoothly, indicating that there were obstacles that were supported by the building's security system which facilitated the extinguishing process.

Until now, the fire handling process is still ongoing even though the conditions at the location are conducive and the fire has been controlled. Officers are still carrying out the cooling process to ensure that there are no fire points that have the potential to trigger a fire again.
