Israeli authorities seized nearly 500 dunams (123 hectares) of Palestinian land in the northern West Bank, while occupation forces built eight illegal settlement outposts in the occupied territory since Friday, according to authorities and media on Monday.
The Commission on Colonization and Resistance Walls said in a statement that Israeli authorities seized 498 dunams of land in Tubas Province and Tayasir Village to build a military road.
"The confiscation order remains in force until the end of 2028 and aims to build a security and military road along about 10 kilometers to serve the Israeli army and occupation forces," the statement said, according to Anadolu (27/7).
The commission further said the military order imposed a vast military control zone in the area and threatened to seize Palestinian access to their land.
The land dispute comes after Israeli occupation forces built eight illegal settlement outposts in the northern city of Nablus since their assault on the town of Tell on Friday, according to Israel Army Radio.
"Over the past 24 hours, two additional residential posts were established in Nablus near the site of Friday's attack in Tell," the radio said.

The radio said one of the two posts was established in Area B between the Palestinian village of Deir Istiya and the illegal settlement of Emmanuel, while the other was established in Area C to the west of the village of Deir Ballut.
