JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office has scheduled to examine the former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah as a witness in the alleged money laundering case.

The Deputy Attorney General for Supervision (Jamwas) Rudi Margono said that today's examination schedule was the second for Febriesetelah did not attend the previous examination, Wednesday (22/7), for health reasons.

The examination will be held at the Main Building of the Attorney General's Office. However, Rudi still can't confirm Febrie's presence.

"Later we will wait for the youth to arrive at what time, we will wait," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, July 24.

He also opened the opportunity for the investigation team to forcibly pick up if Febrie did not attend the examination again.

"If Article 28 of the Criminal Procedure Code, once called, does not come, please. If the second call does not come, the investigator can ask for help from the authorized official to present," he said.

Previously, the Attorney General's Investigation Team, which is called Team 9, issued a new investigation letter (sprindik) for the alleged TPPU case. The new sprindic has the number Print-03/F.2/Fd.2/07/2026 which was issued on July 20, 2026.

Head of the Legal Information Center of the Attorney General's Office, Anang Supriatna, said the new sprindik was issued after the Attorney General's Office received the case file and evidence of 74 kilograms of gold and foreign exchange worth hundreds of billions from the National Police.

Then, in the investigation process, the investigative team called Team 9 summoned four witnesses, namely Febrie Adriansyah (FA), Don Ritto (DR), NH, and TS, as well as a TPPU expert to be questioned on Wednesday (22/7).

However, of the four witnesses, two did not meet the call, namely Febrie Adriansyah with health reasons and NH who did not attend without notice.
