JAKARTA - A total of four people were killed in an armed attack from Ukraine to a number of facilities in Energodar.

"Only two days after the meeting with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), we experienced the bloodiest day in Energodar. And this is not a speech by a figure, but a fact," said the Director General of the Russian Rosatom Company, Alexey Likhachev, in a Rosatom press release on Sunday.

According to him, four people were killed including two women and two men, and four others were injured, with one of them suffering serious injuries.

"The regular occurrence of these murders is always a matter of astonishment," Likhachev said.

He confirmed that the bus stop had been attacked in the morning, then in the afternoon three people were killed when a drone attacked a car.

"What happened this morning is a good opportunity for the IAEA to act through efforts and not just talk. This is a commitment to the agreement reached only a day ago to increase information to the international community regarding all risks, incidents, and threats that arise in the Energodar region," said Likhachev.

Since the start of the large-scale offensive from Ukraine on April 27, 2022, according to Likhachev, as many as 11 civilians have been killed in Energodar.
