JAKARTA - US President Donald Trump said Spain had completely reversed course after he threatened to cut off trade ties. Madrid is alleged to have agreed to pay a large sum.

"Spain is a useless case. We don't want to do business with Spain anymore. I want you to stop it. I don't want to deal with Spain anymore. Decide on all trade with Spain, including visits," Trump said when meeting NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte.
Trumppun said that while looking at US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessentyang was accompanying him at the NATO Summit.
"I don't want any more trade with them (Spain). Implement it immediately. Don't talk to them. They have no hope," Trump said.
Responding to Trump's instructions, Bessent also answered briefly.
