JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung will immediately discuss the Jakarta City Transportation Council (DTKJ) proposal regarding the Transjakarta and Transjabodetabek tariffs.

Not only that, Pramonoo will consider proposals related to the Transjakarta tariff subscription scheme of Rp. 200,000 per month.

"For the proposal from the transportation council, of course, it will be immediately reviewed by the DKI Jakarta Government. I have received the proposal," said Pramonodilansir ANTARA, Tuesday, July 7.

Pramono said the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government would immediately make a decision regarding the adjustment of the Transjakarta and Transjabodetabek tariffs.

In addition, Pramono will also immediately decide on the tariff for the Transjabodetabek route from Soekarno Hatta Airport to Blok M.

Currently, he said, the Transjabodetabek tariff for this route is still being discussed with the DKI Jakarta DPRD.

"It must be decided immediately, especially for Transjabodetabek who go to the airport, which at that time I promised that within three months we would announce. This has been more than three months," said Pramono.

Previously, the Chairman of the DTKJ Sugihardjo proposed a subscription rate for the Transjakarta bus of Rp. 200,000 per month so that the cost of workers who use public transportation every day would be more affordable.

The scheme was proposed in conjunction with the plan to adjust the regular Transjakarta tariff to Rp5,000 for BRT, non-BRT, and integrated microtrans services.

With this scheme, users will get a discount, different from the daily tariff.

The calculation of the subscription rate is based on the assumption that users travel back and forth for 25 working days in one month.

"So, if the person who works 25 working days a month, the rate should be Rp. 5,000 to go, Rp. 5,000 to come back, it's Rp. 10,000. How many times is it? Rp. 250,000," said Sugihardjo.
