West Java Kadin Meeting Gets Hot, the Defendant Says Muprov Bogor is Allegedly Violating AD/ART

JAKARTA - The trial of the implementation of the VIII West Java Chamber of Commerce Provincial Consultative Meeting (Muprov) at the South Jakarta District Court, Thursday (2/7/2026), presented new facts. One of the defendants, Zulkifli M. Adam, through his lawyer stated that the implementation of the Muprov in Bogor was suspected of not being in accordance with the organization mechanism because he as the official committee chairman was never involved.

This statement is one of the important points in the trial of the lawsuit filed by the Chairman of the Garut Chamber of Commerce Rajab Priljadi and the Chairman of the Indramayu Chamber of Commerce Mulyadi Cahya against the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce management.

Zulkifli's lawyer, Arif Suhundar, S.H., said his client was appointed as Chairman of the Organizing Committee based on SK Number 003. However, according to him, Zulkifli was never involved from the preparation stage to the implementation of Muprov VIII in Bogor.

Arif also conveyed that his client had never signed the invitation letter, did not attend the board meeting, and did not attend the implementation of the Muprov.

According to Arif, because he never received a letter revoking Agung Suryamal's mandate as Chairman of the West Java Caretaker Kadin, his client argues that the implementation of the Bogor Muprov deviates from the Kadin Articles of Association and Articles of Association (AD/ART).

The trial, which was chaired by Chief Justice Eman Sulaiman, was then postponed for a week to give the defendant who had not yet appeared the opportunity to submit an answer.

After all the answers from the defendant have been received, the trial will enter the stage of proof. The plaintiff plans to present a number of fact witnesses and expert witnesses.

In the previous hearing, the lawyer for the plaintiff Roy Sianipar had submitted 44 pieces of evidence which he considered showed a series of alleged violations in the implementation of the Muprov Kadin West Java in Bogor. The proof documents reached about 500 pages.

According to Roy, the evidence is expected to be considered by the panel of judges in assessing the legality of the implementation of Muprov which designates Almer Faiq Rusyidi as the Chairman of the West Java Chamber of Commerce.

The lawsuit originated from the emergence of two results of the West Java Kadin Provincial Meeting, which were both held on September 24, 2025, namely in Bogor and Bandung.

In the Muprov Bandung, Nizar Sungkar was elected as the Chairman of the West Java Chamber of Commerce. Meanwhile, the Muprov Bogor appointed Almer Faiq Rusyidi as chairman.

The plaintiffs assessed that Muprov Bogor did not meet the organization's provisions, which triggered the dualism of management at the West Java Chamber of Commerce. They also questioned the decision of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce, which then appointed Almer in Cirebon on November 27, 2025.

The lawsuit, which is registered with Number 1356/Pdt.G/2025/PN JKT.SEL, is addressed to the General Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Anindya Bakrie, Deputy Chairman of the Organization Taufan Eko Nugroho, Deputy Chairman Widiyanto Daputro, and Deputy Chairman Erwin Aksa.
