BOGOR - The National Police continues to change the way it serves the public. No longer relying solely on police stations, various services are now being moved to digital platforms. In fact, the 110 emergency service is targeted to respond to every call within a maximum of 10 seconds.
The commitment was conveyed by the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, when he reported the achievements of the National Police to President Prabowo Subianto in the 80th Bhayangkara Day Ceremony at the Satlat Brimob Cikeas, Bogor Regency, Wednesday (1/7).
According to the National Police Chief, the presence of the police in the community is still carried out through dialogic patrols, the Friday Curhat program, and Sunday Kasih to directly absorb the problems of the people. However, access to public services is now also expanded through digital transformation.
The National Police has launched the Polri Super App which integrates various services in one application. The public can take care of the Police Record Certificate (SKCK) online, extend the SIM and STNK, to access various law enforcement services.
In the field of investigation, the National Police also opened a consultation service for investigation which can be carried out directly or online. Meanwhile, in terms of supervision, the public can submit complaints through the Dumas Presisi, Digital Whistle Blowing System, and the QR Code of Propam which has been installed at various public facilities and strategic locations.
The National Police Chief said that digital transformation also targeted emergency services. Hotline 110 is now operating in all 34 Polda and 508 Polres with a target response time of maximum 10 seconds after the call is received.
The service is also strengthened through a live chat feature integrated into the Polri Super Apps so that the public has more options when they need police assistance.
"These various digitalizations are a manifestation of the commitment of the National Police to expand the ease of public access to police services," said the National Police Chief.
On the internal side, the National Police has also improved human resource management. The recruitment system has been updated by utilizing technology and participatory supervision involving Kompolnas, Ombudsman, and universities.
The reform also includes the education system, career development, to personnel management. According to the National Police Chief, these steps are aimed at building a more meritocratic, transparent, accountable, and ethical institution.
