According to Juri, the logo was determined after going through a competition facilitated by the Ministry of Creative Economy together with the Indonesian Graphic Designers Association (ADGI). The government also appreciates the high participation of the public in the logo design selection process.
He invited all government agencies, SOEs, BUMD, the business world, community organizations, and the public to use the official logo of the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia on various promotional media, social media, and public spaces according to the guidelines that have been prepared by the committee.
