National Police Headquarters Mutates 15 Police Chiefs in South Sulawesi

MAKASSAR - The National Police Headquarters has carried out a mutation and rotation of 15 heads of resort police (kapolres) in the South Sulawesi Regional Police as part of organizational refreshment and career development of personnel.

Head of Public Relations of the South Sulawesi Police, Kombes Didik Supranoto, said the mutation was part of the organization's need to improve the performance of police services to the community.

"This mutation of positions is part of career development and organizational needs, as well as a form of refreshment so that the performance of personnel is more optimal in providing services to the community," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, June 26.

The mutation is contained in the Police Chief's Telegram Letter Number ST/1335 to ST/1341 dated June 25, 2026 which was signed on behalf of the Police Chief General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

A number of regional police chiefs who were transferred included Luwu Police Chief AKBP Adnan Pandibu, who was entrusted to serve as Deputy Director of Criminal Investigation of the South Sulawesi Police, Palopo Police Chief AKBP Dedi Surya Dharma, who was assigned as Wadirsamapta of the South Sulawesi Police, and Pangkep Police Chief AKBP Muhammad Husni Ramli who was assigned at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police.

In addition, there was a change of leadership in a number of police stations, including the Pangkep, Soppeng, Enrekang, Bone, Sidrap, Parepare, Maros, Wajo, Gowa, Palopo, Bantaeng, Bulukumba, and North Toraja police stations.

In the mutation, AKBP Andi Mayasari Patongai was trusted to serve as the Bantaeng Police Chief, while AKBP Devi Sujana, who previously served as the Head of the Makassar Police Criminal Investigation Unit, was appointed as the Maros Police Chief.

Didik reminded the public not to easily believe in parties who represent old officials or new officials and ask for something in the name of a job mutation.

Nationally, this time the mutation includes 1,121 high-ranking and mid-ranking police officers who received rotations, mutations, and promotions.
