He said that Kupang City received assistance for the victims of the Seroja tropical cyclone natural disaster, one of which was from Bank Danamon which was symbolically handed over to the BPBD Kupang City last April.

However, he said the aid had only arrived in Kupang on Monday, June 7, so the aid was still stored at the BPBD warehouse in Kupang City.

He said the assistance was in the form of blankets, instant noodles, cooking oil, canned fish, rice, tents, hand sanitizers, rapid-test kits, and masks.

Apart from Danamon, the remaining assistance was also from BNPB which was allocated for victims affected by the natural disaster of the tropical cyclone Seroja.

Jemi said BPBD was still completing various administrations, including packing the aids before they were distributed to victims affected by the natural disaster of the tropical cyclone in Kupang City.

"When it is finished, we will distribute it directly to the community through the local village," he said.

He said the procedure for distributing aid at the BPBD was that incoming goods needed to be checked whether they matched the data received or not and an official report was made to be reported to the mayor.

He added that the next step was to confirm the village office regarding recipient data.

"After distributing it to the village, it will then be distributed to the victims or affected residents", said Jemi.
