JAKARTA - Visitors to the 2026 Jakarta Fair can now pay Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) without having to come to the tax service office. The service is available at the exhibition area after Bank Jakarta collaborated with the DKI Jakarta Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda).
The presence of tax payment services at the Jakarta Fair is an effort to bring public services closer to the community while taking advantage of the high number of residents visiting the annual event.
Bank Jakarta President Director Agus H. Widodo said that people can use tax payment services while enjoying various activities available at the Jakarta Fair.
"Through this tax payment collaboration, Bank Jakarta wants to make it easier for people to fulfill their obligations while supporting the improvement of public service quality in Jakarta," said Agus in a statement, Monday, June 15.
According to Agus, this service is also part of Bank Jakarta's commitment to supporting the digitization of public service transactions through a more practical and secure non-cash payment system.
In addition to direct payment at the location, taxpayers who have become customers can also use the JakOne Mobile application to make digital payments through their accounts.
"By utilizing non-cash transactions through the JakOne Mobile application, tax payments can be made safely and conveniently," he said.
Not only presenting tax payment services, Bank Jakarta also opened an Engagement Store in the Jakarta Fair area. Through cooperation with the Blibli e-commerce platform, visitors can view and purchase various electronic products marketed with the online to offline concept.
Bank Jakarta also prepares a number of promotional programs for customers who transact during the Jakarta Fair.
"Bank Jakarta also prepares a special discount promo for Bank Jakarta Visa Debit Card users who make purchases at BliBli," said Agus.
At the same location, visitors can also access various other banking services, ranging from account opening through the JakOne application, credit and financing applications, to ATM Cash Recycling Machine (CRM) services for cash withdrawals and deposits.
Meanwhile, Bank Jakarta Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi assessed that collaboration with the DKI Jakarta Regional Finance Office is part of support for the digitization of public services program which is being encouraged by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
According to him, the easier access to tax payments provided to the public, the greater the opportunity for increased taxpayer compliance in fulfilling their obligations.
"With the increasing ease of access to tax payments, it is hoped that the level of public compliance in fulfilling tax obligations will continue to increase," concluded Arie.
