President Prabowo Receives a Visit from Jusuf Kalla

Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto received the 10th and 12th Vice President Jusuf Kalla at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Thursday, June 11.

Jusuf Kalla was accompanied by his son Solichin Kalla at the Palace. Jusuf Kalla previously requested time to meet President Prabowo a few days earlier. In front of President Prabowo Subianto, Jusuf Kalla discussed accelerating energy self-sufficiency to support the economic growth target of up to 8 percent.

Jusuf Kalla conveyed his party's readiness to contribute to the development of large-scale green energy. He emphasized that economic growth of up to 8 percent requires strong energy support, and President Prabowo agreed to accelerate the development of national energy, especially green energy.

Apart from the energy issue, Jusuf Kalla revealed that the meeting also touched on the peace situation in a number of countries. This meeting is part of communication and friendship between heads of state with national figures and business people.

President Prabowo continues to open a space for dialogue with various elements of the nation to strengthen unity, strengthen collaboration, and encourage the contribution of all stakeholders in supporting national development and the progress of Indonesia.
