KPK Re-Examines Heri Setiyono, a Customs Entrepreneur Allegedly Affiliated with Blueray Cargo

The KPK has examined two witnesses related to the case of bribery in the import of goods in the Customs Directorate General (DJBC)

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined two witnesses related to the case of bribery of goods imports in the Customs Directorate General (DJBC) today. One of them is Heri Setiyono or Heri Black as a customs entrepreneur who is suspected of having an affiliation with PT Blueray Cargo.

"The two (witnesses, ed) arrived around 10.00 WIB. Currently, an examination is being carried out," said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters through his written statement, Thursday, June 11.

Apart from Heri Setiyono, the KPK also examined Sri Pangestuti as a businessman. Budi has not detailed the material of the examination of the two.

Heri Setiyono is said to be the acting director of KPK Investigation, Achmad Taufik Husein, as a party affiliated with Blueray Cargo. His name came up after the KPK searched his house and seized one container containing vehicle spare parts at the Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang, Central Java last month.

"Previously, HS was a group, still a group with Blueray, Blueray Cargo," Taufik told reporters at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta on Tuesday, June 9.

"And the results of the examination, whether it is the private party or the party affiliated with HS and the Semarang BC, we found that it is still related to customs clearance by Blueray Cargo," he continued.

In addition, Heri Setiyono is also suspected of conditioning witnesses in this case. The deepening was carried out by examining his staff, Rizky Taufiqurrahman, a few weeks ago.

"That we have indeed found conversations in electronic evidence that were carried out by the investigators. That there was conditioning of witnesses when the process of being caught by the KPK against the Blueray party," said Taufik.

Heri Setiyono has already been examined as a witness on May 18. He then denied being affiliated with Blueray Cargo or knowing about the case being handled by the KPK.

"No, no," he replied briefly while trying to avoid reporters at the KPK office.

As previously reported, the KPK announced six suspects related to alleged bribes and gratuities related to the import of goods at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise after conducting a hand-in-hand operation (OTT) on February 4. One of them is the Director of Enforcement and Investigation of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (P2 DJBC) for the period 2024-2026, Rizal.

In addition to Rizal, the KPK also named five other suspects. They are Sisprian Subiaksono (SIS) as Head of the Subdirectorate of Intelligence, Enforcement and Investigation of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (Kasubdit Intel P2 DJBC); Orlando Hamonangan (ORL) as Head of the Intelligence Section of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (Kasi Intel DJBC); John Field (JF) as owner of PT Blueray (BR); Andri as Head of the Import Documents Team of PT BR; and Dedy Kurniawan as Operational Manager of PT BR.

The KPK suspects that this case began in October 2025 when Orlando Hamonangan and Sisprian Subiaksono together with John Field, Andri, and Dedy Kurniawan committed a conspiracy. They arranged the planning of the import route of goods that would enter Indonesia.

Furthermore, the KPK announced the Head of the Tax Intelligence Section for Enforcement and Investigation (P2) of the Directorate General of Customs (DJBC) Budiman Bayu Prasojo (BBP) as a new suspect in the case of alleged gratification related to the import of goods. The arrest was then carried out at the DJBC headquarters in East Jakarta on Thursday, February 26.

Budiman was arrested for allegedly receiving and managing money from entrepreneurs whose products were subject to taxes and importers since November 2024. As a result of his actions, he is suspected of violating Article 12 B of Law No. 31 of 1999 jo. UU No. 20 of 2001 jo. Article 20 letter c of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code (KUHP).
