KPK is looking for Wamenimipas Silmy Karim after OTT Head of the Immigration Office of Jakbar

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) reminded Deputy Minister of Immigration and Corrections (Wamenimipas) Silmy Karim to be cooperative. He is currently being sought by a team that has just carried out a hand-in-hand operation (OTT) related to the management of residence permits for foreign nationals (WNA).

"The team is still continuing the search. The KPK asks that all parties can be cooperative," said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters through his written statement, Wednesday, June 3.

Since Tuesday evening, June 2, 2026 to Wednesday, June 3, 2026, the KPK has secured dozens of people in OTT activities in West Jakarta. The search for the parties has also spread to Bali and West Java.

The dozens of people arrested were state and private organizers. One of the state organizers was the Head of the West Jakarta Special Class I Immigration Office, Ronald Arman Abdullah.

In addition, the KPK also secured several pieces of evidence, namely vehicles, cars and motorcycles, and also evidence in the form of cash such as foreign exchange in the form of US dollars and Singapore dollars, as well as precious metals.

This OTT incident is related to the process of managing the Limited Residence Permit (KITAP) and Permanent Residence Permit (KITAP) for Foreign Nationals (WNA).
