DEMAK - The KH Muchtarom Grand Family Association or IKHROM distributed 700 sacrificial meat packages to residents of Kalikondang Village, Demak, and the Istighosah Ahad Pon IKHROM congregation on Eid al-Adha 2026.
This number is up from last year which reached 536 packages. This increase makes the annual IKHROM sacrifice activities feel more widely beneficial for the surrounding residents.
The slaughter of sacrificial animals was held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, in the area around the Ikhrom Hasana Center Foundation Office, Kalikondang Village. This year, IKHROM received the trust of two cows from H. Nurus Sholichin and two goats from Ina Mariana and Izzatul Mufty.
The slaughter process began at 08.00 WIB. The committee together with the residents then carried out the encryption, cutting, to packaging the meat. All processes were completed at around 13.30 WIB.
The Chairman of IKHROM and Chairman of the Eid Al-Adha Committee, Sholichul Hadi, said that the distribution of meat this year has increased significantly.
"Alhamdulillah, this year 2026 has increased. Last year we distributed 536 packages, this year there are 700 packages of meat that we have distributed," said Sholichul in a written statement received on Thursday, May 28.
The committee previously distributed 700 coupons to residents of Kalikondang Village, especially those living around the Ikhrom Hasana Center Foundation Office, as well as the Istighosah Ahad Pon IKHROM congregation. The meat pick-up started at 13.40 WIB and took place in an orderly manner.
The IKHROM Center's founder, H. Nurus Sholichin, appreciated the consistency of the IKHROM family in maintaining the annual sacrifice agenda. He hopes that this activity will continue.
"Qurban is a manifestation of our real concern for our fellow human beings on Eid al-Adha. Hopefully our sacrifices in the path of Allah will be accepted and bring blessings," he said.
Field coordinator, H. Ahmad Arifin, also expressed his gratitude to the committee, residents, and youth of RT 04 RW 03 who helped since the process of encryption to the distribution of meat.
