BOGOR - President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto gave a briefing or briefing to 400 participants of the first batch of the Presidential Program for Future Leaders (P3MD) in Hambalang, West Java, Sunday, May 24.

The Presidential Program for Future Leaders (P3MD) is a program for training future leaders of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) which was initiated by President Prabowo together with the Anagata Nusantara Power Investment Management Agency (Danantara). The program is designed to prepare a new generation of BUMN leaders who have professional skills, leadership character, and strong integrity.

P3MD is part of Prabowo's strategy to strengthen SOE governance through improving human resources quality. The government wants to produce the best cadres who are able to lead state-owned enterprises in the midst of global challenges and international economic competition.

The main focus of this program is to build the intellectual capacity of participants, decision-making skills, and commitment to serving the nation and state.

The education program lasts for nine months and is divided into three main stages. In the initial stage, participants undergo character and discipline training for three months.

Furthermore, participants receive managerial training and decision-making strategies at Danantara Corporate University for four months. The final stage is filled with an internship program for two months at ministries, government agencies, and state-owned enterprises.

Through this program, the government hopes to produce SOEs leaders who are able to drive the transformation of state-owned enterprises while strengthening Indonesia's competitiveness in the future.

One of the participants, Zhirazzi Dimas Prasetyo from PT Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), admitted that he was proud to be part of the program.

"Yes, I feel proud to be one of the participants of the total 400," said Zhirazzi.

He explained that the selection process was very strict. From around 6,000 applicants, only 400 participants managed to pass the P3MD program.

According to Zhirazzi, President Prabowo's message about the importance of ideological mentality was the most memorable thing during the briefing at Hambalang.

Another participant, Erlin Shofiana from PT Pupuk Indonesia, also admitted that he was enthusiastic about participating in the national leader development program. He hopes that the program will continue to be accompanied until it produces state-owned enterprise leaders in accordance with President Prabowo's vision.

"We hope that this program will continue to be monitored until the output expected by the President," he said.

Meanwhile, a participant from PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur, Aizna Syachkalita, assessed that the program has a long-term goal in preparing the nation's independence through the development of superior human resources.
