JAKARTA - The Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Saifullah Yusuf will meet with the leadership of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on Friday (8/5) morning for an audience and explain the procedures for procurement of goods and services at the Ministry of Social Affairs.

"We will have a meeting with the Minister, the Secretary-General, to ask for advice, ask for input. At the same time, we will also provide information about procurement processes in the Ministry of Social Affairs," said Social Minister Saifullah Yusuf as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, May 7.

The audience was originally scheduled for Thursday, but was rescheduled for Friday (8/5).

The Minister of Social Affairs said he did not know whether he would meet directly with the KPK leadership or not.

"The plan is today, but it was postponed to tomorrow at 10.00. Yes, we'll see tomorrow," said the Minister of Social Affairs, Saifullah Yusuf.

He only emphasized that his party would be open to providing all the information needed by the KPK, including regarding the implementation of the procurement of goods and services that had been carried out or were still in process at the Ministry of Social Affairs.

Saifullah Yusuf also ensured that all the procurement process for shoes for students of the People's School (SR) through the 2025 and 2026 budget years had been carried out through a transparent, professional, and appropriate mechanism for the budget ceiling set.
