LRT Jabodebek Users April Passes 2.9 Million, More and More Become the Choice of Daily Mobility for the Community

JAKARTA - Public interest in modern public transportation continues to show a positive trend. In April 2026, the Jabodebek LRT recorded the highest number of users since it began operating by serving 2,912,092 users.

The number increased by about 16 percent or increased by 402,060 users compared to March 2026 which recorded 2,510,032 users. Meanwhile, compared to April 2025, it increased by about 40 percent which was recorded as many as 2,083,391 users.

Manager of Public Relations of the Jabodebek LRT, Radhitya Mardika, said the increase in the number of users showed the increasing public interest in using integrated, comfortable, and time-certain public transportation to support daily mobility in the Jabodebek area.

"LRT Jabodebek is now increasingly becoming a choice for the community for daily mobility because it is able to provide certainty of travel time in the midst of urban traffic density, as well as being connected to various modes of transportation and the center of community activities," he said.

In addition, several factors also influence people to use the Jabodebek LRT, especially users who carry out routine mobility from residential areas to business centers, offices, and other destinations.

Meanwhile, the most favorite stations from Jabodebek LRT users during April 2026 are:

"The high mobility at the station shows the important role of proximity to the center of community activities in encouraging the growth of LRT Jabodebek users," he explained.

In addition to supporting urban mobility, intermodal integration at a number of strategic stations such as Dukuh Atas, Cikoko, Cawang, West Bekasi, TMII, to Halim also continues to strengthen the connectivity of people's travel to business areas, offices, activity centers, and advanced transportation services.
