He said the body of the victim on behalf of Awal (50) was found by a joint team from BPBD Agam, Basarnas Pos Agam, PMI Agam, Disaster Standby Group and the community at around 03.22 WIB Wednesday morning.
The victim's body was immediately evacuated to the Ampek Koto Health Center to be cleaned.
"The body of the victim was handed over to the family for burial," he said.
Previously, seven residents of Jorong Kampuang Baruah, Nagari Sungai Landia, Ampek Koto District were buried by a landslide due to heavy rainfall that hit the area, Tuesday (5/5).
Of the seven residents, six people were rescued on behalf of Dayat (33), Noya (35), Safira (1), Yoni (45), Zaki (18) and Kuntum (14).
They suffered broken bones and wounds, so they were taken to Ahmad Muchtar Hospital, Bukittinggi City.
Meanwhile, another resident named Awal (50) has not been found and was found several hours after the search.
"The landslide buried three semi-permanent houses and the seven victims were inside the house," he said.
