JAKARTA - The Police Reform Commission submitted a report to the President at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Tuesday, May 5. However, the contents of the report have not been opened to the public.

The President's Special Advisor for Community and Police Reform, Inspector General of Police. Retired. Ahmad Dofiri, said the report was submitted by the Chairman of the Police Reform Commission, Jimly Asshiddiqie, along with all members of the commission.

"The chairman, Prof. Jimly and other members of the commission," said Dofiri at the Presidential Palace Complex.

When asked who was present, Dofiri answered briefly. "All members of the commission."

However, Dofiri was not ready to explain the contents of the report or the conclusions of the commission. He said that new substance would be delivered after it was received by the President. "Later, if the President reports it," he said.

He also said the commission had agreed not to open the contents of the recommendations before the official report was submitted to the President.

"The agreement is that we all in the commission, after reporting to the new president, after that it can be," said Dofiri.

When asked about Mahfud MD's statement regarding the eight main recommendations, Dofiri again refrained. He did not deny it, but also did not detail it.

Dofiri ensured that the work of the commission was carried out in accordance with the President's mandate. He said the report was also compiled by absorbing public aspirations.
