JAKARTA - The Head of the TNI Headquarters Information Center, Major General TNI Aulia Dwi Nasrullah, said the body of the TNI soldier who died in Lebanon, Praka Rico Pramudia, would be flown to Jakarta first before being repatriated to Medan, North Sumatra.

"The plan is to go to Jakarta first, then the body will be brought to Medan," said Aulia, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, April 27.

He ensured that the repatriation process was carried out after the government completed all administrative affairs in Beirut, Lebanon.

However, Aulia has not been able to confirm the departure schedule of the body from Lebanon or the time of burial and burial in the country.

Previously, Praka Rico was one of three TNI soldiers who were injured due to an attack in Lebanon.

"Praka Rico Pramudia suffered serious injuries and Praka Bayu Prakoso and Praka Arif Kurniawan suffered minor injuries who are currently receiving medical treatment," he said.

Aulia explained that they were injured after the Indonesian contingent's assignment post in Adshit al-Qusyar City in South Lebanon was hit by artillery fire on Sunday (29/3).

In the incident, Praka Rico a suffered serious injuries, while Praka Bayu Prakoso and Praka Arif Kurniawan suffered minor injuries and had received medical treatment.

In addition, Praka Farizal Romadhon was declared dead in the incident after being hit by a direct attack at the scene.

Rico, who was seriously injured, was evacuated to St. George Hospital in Beirut by helicopter to receive intensive care.
