JAKARTA - US President Donald Trump has said oil supplies will flow again, with or without Iran's involvement, amid rising geopolitical tensions.
In his statement on the Truth Social platform, Trump also criticized a report by The Wall Street Journal which he considered to be incorrect in describing his comments regarding Iran and its foreign policy.
"The Wall Street Journal, one of the worst and most inaccurate editorial boards in the world, called me 'prematurely declaring victory in Iran.' In fact, this is a victory and nothing is premature," he said, quoted by ANTARA from Anadolu, Friday, April 10.
Trump insisted his policies had ensured Iran would never have a nuclear weapon, while expressing confidence global oil supplies would soon recover.
"Thanks to me, Iran will never have nuclear weapons and in the near future you will see oil start to flow, with or without Iranian help, and for me there is no difference," he said.
He also assessed that the media often showed bias in reporting related to his government.
According to Trump, the media "always quick to criticize" but reluctant to admit mistakes in reporting.
