President Prabowo Donates Clothes to South Korean President's Dog

Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto surprised South Korean President Lee Jae Myung during his state visit to Seoul, Wednesday, April 1.

During his visit to the Blue House, Prabowo stole the spotlight by giving a gift in the form of special clothes for Lee's dog named Bobby. Uniquely, the name is similar to Prabowo's favorite cat, Bobby Kertanegara.

Then, Prabowo took an ethnic-motif scarf and a dog necklace and handed them directly to Lee. As soon as he received the gift, Lee immediately smiled broadly. This gift not only reflects the personal familiarity between the two leaders, but also shows the close friendship and partnership between Indonesia and South Korea.

In addition to providing clothes for Lee's pets, according to the Presidential Chief of Staff Teddy Indra Wijaya, President Prabowo also provided a number of Indonesian MSMEs' flagship handicrafts.

Among them are the Balinese kris and ceramic jars typical of East Java which reflect the richness of Indonesian culture, as well as being a form of creative economic diplomacy in introducing local products to the international stage.
