JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has scheduled an examination of three witnesses to investigate alleged bribes and gratuities related to the import of goods at the Directorate General (Ditjen) of Customs and Excise today, April 2. One of them is M. Suryo who is the boss of HS-branded cigarettes.
"The examination was carried out at the KPK's Merah Putih building," KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo told reporters in a written statement, Thursday, April 2.
Apart from Suryo, the KPK also examined Arief Harwanto and Johan Sugiharto who were referred to as private. However, Budi has not detailed the confirmation or presence of the three witnesses.
