JAKARTA - At least 1,262 Iranians living in Dubai have returned home following the strong tendency of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to help the US-Israeli war against Iran.

Based on a report from the Tasnim news agency quoted by Al Jazeera, Wednesday, April 1, direct flights to Iran from the UAE have been closed.

Iranian citizens who are in Dubai and other UAE regions return to Iran forced to go through Afghanistan and Armenia.

To accommodate its citizens, the Iranian government has submitted a request to the UAE government to move more of its citizens through special flight routes or ship transport.

Previously reported, Iranian citizens were not allowed to enter or transit until they left through airports in the UAE.

This was known through information from the UAE-based airline companies, Emirates and Flydubai.
