President Prabowo Continues East Asian Diplomacy in South Korea

Seoul, South Korea - After a working visit to Japan, President Prabowo Subianto arrived at Seoul Air Base on Tuesday, March 31 local time.

President Prabowo Subianto's arrival was greeted warmly by a number of honor guards and officials of the Republic of Korea Government as well as representatives of the Republic of Indonesia.

From the Republic of Korea, President Prabowo was greeted by the Minister of Climate, Energy, and Environment, Mr. Kim Sung-whan; the Ambassador Designate of the Republic of Korea to Indonesia, Y.M. Yoon Soon-gu; the Head of the State Protocol of the Republic of Korea, Y.M. Kim Tae-jin; and the Director General for ASEAN and Southeast Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, Mr. Lee Dong-gyu.

Meanwhile, from the Indonesian side, President Prabowo was greeted by the Indonesian Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, Y.M. Cecep Herawan, as well as the Indonesian Defense Attaché in Seoul, Colonel Pnb. Muhammad Arif.

President Prabowo's official state visit to South Korea is part of Indonesia's series of diplomacy in the East Asian region, to strengthen bilateral relations between Indonesia and South Korea in various mutually beneficial strategic fields.

Also accompanying President Prabowo on this visit were Foreign Minister Sugiono, Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
