Jakarta - The Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program is back in operation after the Lebaran holiday. This time, MBG is running with the strengthening of food safety supervision at all stages of production and distribution.

It can be seen on the first day of operation, the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) Harapan Mulia I Kemayoran, Tuesday, March 31. At the SPPG, 3,298 MBG were distributed through a system that had been thoroughly evaluated.

Head of SPPG Harapan Mulia I Kemayoran, Fakhri Irfan Pribadi, explained that before operations resumed, an evaluation was carried out with various parties to ensure that service quality was maintained. The evaluation was carried out internally with BGN, foundation partners, and volunteers.

Externally, SPPG also coordinates with agencies that handle food safety, such as BPOM and the Ministry of Health. The distribution of MBG on the first day reached 7 schools and 1 posyandu, with a structured time sharing system.

In its operations, food quality supervision is carried out strictly before distribution. Such as conducting organoleptic tests with KSPG and nutritionists before distribution. If there is an odor, texture, or quality that is not appropriate, the food is withdrawn and not distributed.

In addition, the food safety system is also implemented thoroughly from upstream to downstream. SPPG implements strict personal hygiene and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) systems from the receipt of raw materials to distribution. SPPG also takes proactive steps against potential risks to beneficiaries, including food allergies.

In terms of human resources, the involvement of the surrounding community is an important part of the program's operations. With the strengthening of continuous supervision and evaluation, the MBG program is expected to continue to run with maintained food safety standards and provide optimal benefits for recipients.
