Prabowo Reviews the Senen Railway Line, Prepares Suitable Housing

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto directly reviewed the settlement of residents on the railway embankment in the Senen area, Jakarta.

Quoted from President Prabowo's official Instagram as confirmed in Jakarta, Thursday, this visit was carried out to see the conditions of people's housing as well as directly absorb the aspirations of the people.

Wearing a blue shirt, black pants, and a light brown hat, Prabowo, accompanied by Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) Teddy Indra Wijaya, walked through a residential area located about three kilometers from the center of Jakarta City.

Prabowo dialoged with residents regarding the condition of their homes which were considered not yet suitable.

"This afternoon, I walked through the settlement along the railway embankment in the Senen area, Central Jakarta. It is located about 3 km from the Jakarta City Center. Hear the aspirations of the people there," said Prabowo as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, March 26.

Prabowo said the government would move quickly to prepare the construction of decent housing for residents along the railway.

He emphasized that providing decent and safe housing is the government's determination in improving people's welfare.

"God willing, we will soon build decent housing for the people in the area quickly, and it has become my determination to provide decent housing for the Indonesian people," he concluded.
