Misri File, Suspect in the Murder of Brigadier General Nurhadi, is Still Being Investigated by the Prosecutor

MATARAM - Director of General Criminal Investigation of the West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police, Kombes Harissandi, said that the case file belonging to Misri Puspita Sari, who is also a suspect in the death of Brigadier General Muhammad Nurhadi, is still under investigation by prosecutors.

"So, investigators are just waiting for further instructions from the prosecutor," said Harissandi as reported by ANTARA, Kami, March 26.

NTB Prosecutor's Spokesperson Harun Al Rasyid also said the same thing. He emphasized that the case file belonging to the suspect Misri had not been declared complete or in legal terms called P-21.

"Not yet (P-21), there is still coordination between the prosecutor and his investigators. This is still stage one (file research)," said Harun as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, March 26.

The reason for the case file belonging to the suspect Misri seemed to take longer to enter the trial table compared to the two suspects who are former police officers who adjust the new Criminal Code rules.

"Yes, because there is also an adjustment to the new Criminal Code, so it is still coordinated with the investigators," he said.

Misri in this case is a suspect who is charged with Article 221 of the Criminal Code regarding obstruction of justice. Misri is suspected of obstructing the investigation process which took place under the control of Subdit III Ditreskrimum Polda NTB.

This criminal suspicion is different from two former police officers, namely I Made Yogi Purusa Utama and I Gde Aris Chandra Widianto who have been declared guilty by the Mataram District Court panel of judges.

I Gde Aris Chandra Widianto was found guilty of severe abuse against Brigadier General Nurhadi and for I Made Yogi was found guilty of murder.

In the investigation at the police, Misri is now a suspect with a suspended detention. Previously, Misri had applied for self-protection to the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK).

However, from the results of the study, it was decided that the submission was rejected because it did not provide consistent information and the person concerned did not know the death of Brigadier General Nurhadi, even though at the time of the incident the person concerned was at the location.

Brigadier General Nurhadi died after he was found unconscious and drowned in a small pool where Yogi stayed with Misri in the Gili Trawangan area.

Because there was something strange, namely the discovery of bruises and tears on the body of the deceased, the family asked the police to reveal the cause of Brigadier General Nurhadi's death.
