Blora DPRD Acting Secretary Apologizes for Using Government Car for Eid

BLORA - Acting Secretary of the Blora Regency DPRD, Central Java, Agus Listiyono admitted that he used a red-plated official car with the police number K 28 E to go out of the area during the Lebaran momentum.

"I apologize for that. I myself brought the car," said Agus as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, March 23.

Agus explained that the use of the official vehicle took place on Saturday (21/3). In the morning, around 10.00 WIB, his party made a visit to the residence of Blora Regent Arief Rohman.

After that, at around 11.00 WIB, Agus continued his journey to his parents' house in Kunduran District, Blora. Meanwhile, in the afternoon at around 15.30 WIB, he departed from Kunduran to Sragen to visit his in-laws' house.

He traveled through the Kuwu, Wirosari, Grobogan Regency routes.

Then at around 17.00 WIB, the official vehicle was estimated to have passed through the Tangen Highway area, Sragen, and was briefly recorded, then the photo circulated on social media until it became the public spotlight.

"After the parents in Kunduran, I went to my in-laws in Sragen for Eid greetings," he said.

Agus learned about the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Circular Letter Number 2 of 2026 concerning the Control and Prevention of Gratification, which, among other things, reminded that state facilities should not be used for personal interests.

However, he was careful in understanding and implementing the rules.

"I know there is a letter from the KPK and I feel guilty because I didn't understand it carefully," he said.

He added that the use of the official vehicle only lasted briefly and was not used for other purposes outside the agenda of the meeting.

Agus also ensured that he had returned to Blora on Sunday (22/3) evening. "Only one day, I didn't go anywhere. Sunday (22/3) night I've come back," he said.

Previously, the official car became the focus of netizens after his photo went viral on social media.

Warganet questioned compliance with the rules for the use of official vehicles which should be for the interests of the service.

Referring to the Minister of PAN Regulation Number PER/87/M.PAN/8/2005, government operational vehicles are used to support the implementation of the main tasks and functions, not for personal interests.

In addition, the KPK also reminded the importance of maintaining integrity, especially in the use of state facilities during the holiday period.
