"Around 05.00 WIB time of the accident, one unit of a cattle transport vehicle had a problem with the brakes so it swayed to the left, and rolled over," he said.
In addition to the victims, the accident also resulted in several riders being injured and two cattle loads being killed at the scene.
"The evacuation process caused traffic to be stalled, especially when officers evacuated the eight surviving cows," he said.

Eti added that his party was still evacuating the transport vehicle, which would then be secured at the nearest post to avoid further obstacles during the homecoming rush.
