Cilincing Angkot Driver Dies Covered in Blood Killed by Colleagues

JAKARTA - A Angkot driver was found dead in a pool of blood after being stabbed with a sharp weapon by his colleague on Jalan Pama Raya, Sukapura, Cilincing, North Jakarta.

The victim died after a duel by the perpetrator. The incident had made the residents around it flutter. The reason is that the victim was covered in blood on the street.

The murder of the angkot driver was then reported to the Cilincing Police. After receiving the report, the police immediately pursued the perpetrator.

"We have secured the perpetrators with the Metro Jaya Police Resmob. The perpetrators were arrested in Cakung on Friday morning," said Cilincing Police Chief AKP Bobi Subasri when confirmed, Friday, March 13, 2026.

The murder took place on Thursday night, March 12. The victim died at around 21.47 WIB.

"The motive is still being investigated. The case may be handled by the Metro Jaya Police," he said.

Meanwhile, the investigation process is still ongoing and officers are conducting further examinations of a number of witnesses.

The Cilincing Police also have carried out an investigation of the crime scene. In addition, the police are still examining CCTV footage around the crime scene.
