Friday afternoon, Prabowo led a Cabinet meeting to discuss the readiness for Eid al-Fitr 2026

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to lead a plenary cabinet meeting at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Friday, March 13. The session will discuss the government's readiness to face the Idulfitri 1447 Hijriah/Lebaran 2026 holiday.

The cabinet meeting will be attended by all members of the Red and White Cabinet, ranging from ministers, deputy ministers, heads of agencies, presidential special advisers, to presidential special assistants.

"So, today there will be a cabinet meeting regarding the readiness of Lebaran at 16.00 WIB," said Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) Teddy Indra Wijaya in a written statement, Friday, March 13.

Before the cabinet meeting, President Prabowo and cabinet members were scheduled to pay zakat fitrah and zakat mal through the National Zakat Agency (Baznas).

The zakat payment activity will be held at the State Palace and is part of President Prabowo's agenda ahead of the cabinet meeting.

"It started with the event of paying zakat mal and zakat fitrah from cabinet members to the National Zakat Agency at the State Palace, it was around 15.00 WIB," concluded Teddy.

The plenary cabinet meeting chaired by President Prabowo is scheduled to discuss various government preparations ahead of Lebaran 2026, including the readiness of the transportation sector, infrastructure, security, and the stability of the supply and prices of basic necessities.

The meeting became a forum for coordination between ministries and agencies so that various government programs could run optimally during the homecoming and Eid al-Fitr holidays.

The government is also expected to ensure that public services continue to run well during the 2026 Lebaran long holiday.
