BOGOR - Commission IV of the Bogor City DPRD encourages the payment of the Eid Bonus (THR) to workers in the Bogor City area to be made on time and not in installments. To strengthen supervision, the DPRD is also considering opening a THR complaint post for workers who have difficulties in receiving their rights.

This was conveyed in a working meeting of Commission IV of the Bogor City DPRD with the Bogor City Manpower Service (Disnaker) which discussed the supervision of the payment of THR in 2026. This meeting aims to ensure that all companies fulfill their obligation to pay THR to employees in accordance with applicable regulations.

Chairman of Commission IV of the Bogor City DPRD, Fajar Muhamad Nur, said his party wanted to ensure that no workers were harmed ahead of Eid. In addition to relying on supervision from the Manpower Office, the DPRD also opened the possibility of presenting additional complaint channels through complaint posts.

According to him, the complaint mechanism is actually available through official government channels. However, based on experience in previous years, the existence of a complaint post facilitated by the DPRD is considered quite effective in accommodating the aspirations of workers.

"The DPRD itself has opened a complaint post, like two years ago when there were complaints related to THR. So people can also report to the DPRD in addition to complaining through the Ministry of Manpower," said Fajar.

However, the DPRD will still conduct internal discussions regarding the plan to open the post. A decision will be made after seeing the effectiveness of the complaint post provided by the Labor Office.

Fajar said coordination with members of Commission IV would be carried out immediately to mature the plan. This step, he said, was taken to ensure that the rights of workers in the Bogor City industrial sector are still protected.

"For the complaint post itself, we will discuss with friends in Commission IV. Whether it needs to be opened or just wait for the results of the supervision of the Ministry of Manpower," he said.

He emphasized that the DPRD would not hesitate to open a complaint post if conditions on the ground showed a high potential for violations by the company.

"If it is really needed and must be made, we are ready to open a complaint post," he said.

Fajar also hopes that the Bogor City Manpower Office can be proactive in monitoring companies, both large-scale and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), so that there will be no problems with the payment of THR before the holidays.
