AMPI Holds Breaking the Fast Together, Gives Benefits to Hundreds of Orphans

DPP AMPI provided compensation to hundreds of orphans and assistance for the Golkar mosque during the "Youth Discussion and Breaking Fast Together" in the Syajaratun Thayyibah Mosque,

JAKARTA - The DPP of the Indonesian Reformist Youth (AMPI) held a "Ngabuburit Discussion on Youth and Breaking the Fast Together" at the Syajaratun Thayyibah Mosque, the Golkar Party DPP complex, Slipi, Jakarta. During the event, AMPI provided compensation to hundreds of orphans and assistance for the Golkar mosque.

This activity is part of a series of Ramadhan programs initiated by the DPP AMPI to strengthen brotherhood and strengthen the role of youth in national life. The event is also expected to provide motivation and strategic insights for young people who are active in youth organizations.

This activity was attended by the DPP AMPI executive, namely the General Chairperson of the DPP AMPI Jerry Sambuaga, Secretary General of the DPP AMPI Robi Anugrah Marpaung and General Treasurer of the DPP AMPI Kevin Tandra along with hundreds of orphans. In fact, hundreds of orphans seemed enthusiastic and happy to attend the bukber event with AMPI.

"Thank you, Brother Ketum AMPI Jerry Sambuaga for holding this bukber event and thank you very much for the compensation that has been given to me and my friends. May AMPI be more successful," said Arfan, one of the orphans who participated in the event, Tuesday, March 10.

Also present were the Secretary General of the DPP of the Golkar Party, M Sarmuji, the Chairman of Commission X of the DPR, Hetifah Sjaifudian, the Chairman of the DPP of the Golkar Party, Fahd Arafid, Member of the DPR Ranny Fahd Arafiq, Chairman of the Golkar Party's Research and Development, Yddy Chrisnandi, and the wife of the Chairman of the General DPP of the Golkar Party, Sri Suparni Bahlil, who were present in a video call.

On that occasion, Golkar Party DPP Secretary General M Sarmuji expressed his appreciation and gratitude to AMPI.

"Thank you to AMPI under the leadership of General Chairman Jerry Sambuaga who has held a joint fast-breaking meal followed by social activities in the form of assistance to hundreds of orphans and assistance to the Golkar Mosque. Hopefully this activity can be beneficial for our fellow citizens, especially in this holy month of Ramadan," said Sarmuji.

The wife of the General Chairperson of the Golkar Party, Sri Suparni Bahlil, also greeted hundreds of orphans who were present at the fasting opening event. The orphans seemed very enthusiastic to greet Mrs. Ketum Sri Bahlil who had a brief discussion via video call.

"Thank you to AMPI for holding a joint fasting event and providing assistance to hundreds of orphans as well as providing assistance to the Golkar Mosque. God willing, blessings," said Mrs. Sri Bahlil.

Meanwhile, the General Chair of the AMPI DPP, Jerry Sambuaga, said that this joint fasting activity was part of the organization's agenda ahead of the end of Ramadan.

He assessed that the momentum of Ramadan can be used to strengthen togetherness as well as expand discussions about the role of youth in nation-building.

According to Jerry, this activity not only contains youth discussions, but is also equipped with social activities in the form of assistance to orphans as a form of concern for one's fellow man.

"This fasting opening is a series of activities by the DPP AMPI towards the end of Ramadan. This activity is also accompanied by social action in the form of assistance to hundreds of orphans and also assistance to the Syajaratun Thayyibah Mosque at the Golkar Party Office as a symbol of social concern for one's fellow man and blessings in the holy month of Ramadan. This is also part of the direction of the Golkar Ketum, Mr. Bahlil Lahadalia, that we must be close and always be with the people," said Jerry.

Through this activity, AMPI hopes to present a constructive dialogue space for young people from various backgrounds of organizations, as well as strengthen the spirit of togetherness in the national framework during the holy month of Ramadan.

Meanwhile, Ustad Ahmad Yani Panjaitan who gave tausiah in the event conveyed his praise and appreciation for the General Chairman of the DPP of the Golkar Party, Bahlil Lahadalia.

"Golkar Party under the leadership of Mr. Bahlil Lahadalia is extraordinary, because it has made a commitment to improving the welfare of the people. His steps as chairman of the party and also as Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources in the government have shown a clear track record that he is a person who gives extraordinary dedication and devotion to the community, nation, and country," said Ahmad Yani who is also Head of the Religious Sector of the MKGR NGO.

"Just like the emblem of the Golkar Party which is a banyan tree, he gave a message to protect the community and fight for the aspirations of the people," he added.
