Official Letter Issued, ASN Bogor Cannot Use Government Vehicles for Homecoming

CIBINONG - The Bogor Regency Government (Pemkab) has banned state civil servants (ASN) from using red license plate service vehicles for Lebaran homecoming.

The ban was conveyed through an official decree letter which had been sent to all regional devices in the Bogor Regency Government environment.

Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto said the regulation applies to all ASN in the Bogor Regency, ranging from the level of regional apparatus, sub-districts to villages.

"We have made a decision and sent it to all SKPD, both at the district, sub-district and village levels, regarding the prohibition of the use of red license plate service vehicles for homecoming," said Rudy in Cibinong, Antara, Sunday, March 8.

According to him, government vehicles are state facilities that are intended to support the implementation of government duties and services to the public.

Therefore, Rudy appealed to all ASN in Bogor Regency not to use the state facilities for personal interests, including homecoming trips to their hometowns during Eid al-Fitr.

"We appeal to all ASN not to use state facilities when returning home," said Rudy.

He added that the policy was part of efforts to maintain the integrity and discipline of government officials.

In addition, this step is also aimed at ensuring that all state facilities are used appropriately in accordance with their provisions.
