Lebak UMKM's revenue brings blessings during Ramadan sharpens

Lebak - The revenue of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in Lebak Regency, Banten, brought blessings during the holy month of Ramadan 1447 Hijriah/2026 increased sharply.

"We have a revenue turnover during Ramadan that can reach Rp. 2 million, even though the normal day is Rp. 500 thousand per day," said Entin, an UMKM producer of inflated bananas on Jalan Hardiwinangun Rangkasbitung Lebak Regency, Saturday.

The production of puffed banana food uses the raw material of banana ketan and is sliced into small pieces and then fried.

After frying the banana ketan, it is mixed with milk and also depends on the consumer's taste, such as chocolate flavor, strawberry flavor and others.

For one serving sold for Rp20 thousand and can consume as many as 100 servings, so it can generate a turnover of Rp2 million per day.

"We are happy and happy that during Ramadan it brings blessings, because the income has tripled," said Entin.

Likewise, another UMKM perpetrator on Jalan Multatuli Rangkasbitung Lebak Regency, Ma Uni admitted that his turnover could reach Rp. 1 million per day, because the demand for food for breaking the fast during Ramadan increased compared to before.

The production of food sold includes fried foods, buras, rockets, dedar gulung, jojorong to noodle crackers with prices ranging from Rp. 1,000 to Rp. 10,000.

"We have been fasting for two weeks in Ramadan, it is certain that every day is sold out," he said.

Meanwhile, the Acting Head of the Lebak Regency Cooperative and SMEs, Imam Suangsa, said that his party believed that the turnover of the income of UMKM actors had increased and brought blessings during Ramadan 2026.

It is estimated that there are around 170 thousand registered MSMEs, they sell during Ramadan, mostly in various fields of food, beverages and handicrafts.

In fact, they are UMKM actors crowding the protocol roads and tourist attractions in Lebak Regency who are selling food traders for breaking the fast.

"We ensure that the circulation of money from MSMEs can reach hundreds of millions of rupiah per day," he explained.
