TANJUNG SELOR - The Indonesian Community Recreation Sports Committee (KORMI) Bulungan Regency 2026-2030 period was officially inaugurated on Saturday (7/3/2026).
The inauguration, which was held at the Luminor Hotel, Tanjung Selor, marked the beginning of the leadership of Adymas Putro Utomo as the Chairman of KORMI Bulungan.
Adymas said KORMI has an important role in developing community sports as mandated by the Sports Law.
"In the law it is stated that there are three types of sports, namely educational sports, community sports, and achievement sports. Today we are all here to take a role in community sports," said Adymas.

Meanwhile, the Secretary of KORMI North Kalimantan (Kaltara), Suryanata Al Islami who was present on behalf of the Chairman of KORMI Kaltara appreciated the concept carried out by KORMI Bulungan.
"Bulungan is the first district in Kaltara that has the tagline "KORMI Adaptif", this shows a new spirit to collaborate with various sectors," said Suryanata.
Suryanata hopes that KORMI Bulungan will continue to contribute to various regional activities, including cultural festivals, tourism, and the development of creative economy based on community sports.
"Through collaboration with local governments and various parties, we hope that KORMI Bulungan can prepare athletes and recreational sports enthusiasts so that they can participate in the 2027 National Recreational Sports Festival (FORNAS) which will be held in Central Sulawesi," he concluded.
