BOGOR - Chairman of the Bogor City DPRD Adityawarman Adil attended the opening of the 2026 Rural and Urban Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2) and Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) Peer Model Week at the Bogor City Hall Plaza, Wednesday, March 4.

The activity initiated by the Bogor City Regional Revenue Agency (Bappenda) carries the theme "Together with Obedience, Together with Greatness, Together with Obedience, and Together with Growth". This program is one of the efforts of the local government to pick up the ball in optimizing the Regional Original Income (PAD).

In his remarks, Adityawarman Adil emphasized that public participation in paying taxes is the key to helping the government solve various problems in Bogor City. He said that the funds collected from PBB-P2 and PKB will be used again for the benefit of the community.

"The main objective of this tax optimization is to increase the Bogor City's PAD to solve various community problems, ranging from the education sector, health, infrastructure development, to improving the quality of public services," said Adityawarman in his statement, Thursday, March 5.

He also emphasized that achieving the 2026 APBD target requires strong synergy between the executive and legislative branches. According to him, the Panutan Week activities should not only be a ceremonial activity, but should have a real impact on increasing the region's cash.

Meanwhile, Head of the Bogor City Bappenda Abdul Wahid explained that the 2026 Role Model Week lasted for two days, namely March 4 to 5, 2026. This activity is focused on increasing taxpayer compliance among state civil servants (ASN).

Abdul Wahid revealed that the tax potential from ASN in Bogor City is quite large. Based on Bappenda data, there are 3,776 taxpayers from ASN with a total tax potential of Rp. 8.3 billion.

"Through this activity, it is hoped that ASN can set an example for the community in meeting tax obligations in a timely manner," said Abdul Wahid.

To increase taxpayer participation, the Bogor City Government also provides a tax relaxation program. In this program, the community and ASN can take advantage of tax payment deductions.

"Tax discounts are available ranging from 5 percent to 20 percent," said Abdul Wahid.
