Prabowo Receives Dasco at the Palace, Seskab Teddy: DPR Brings Food, Stimulus, LPG to Geopolitics Issues

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto received the Deputy Speaker of the DPR, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta. Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said the meeting highlighted issues that directly touched the kitchen of the people before Eid al-Fitr, namely the supply and price of food, economic stimulus, to the availability of energy reserves.

"This afternoon, President Prabowo Subianto received the Deputy Speaker of the DPR RI, Prof. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, accompanied by several Red and White Cabinet Ministers at the Merdeka Palace, Wednesday, March 4, 2026," Teddy said in a written statement, Wednesday, March 4.

According to Teddy, Dasco brought the aspirations of the DPR regarding the latest developments in society. The list is not short: the readiness of the supply and price of food, the implementation of economic stimulus, the availability of oil and gas reserves, including LPG ahead of Eid al-Fitr, as well as issues of geopolitical situations in and outside the country.

"In the discussion, the President accepted the aspirations of the DPR, including the readiness of the supply and price of food commodities, the implementation of economic stimulus, the availability of LPG oil and gas reserves ahead of Eid al-Fitr, and issues related to the geopolitical situation," said Teddy.

A number of ministers were present to accompany the President, including Coordinating Minister for Food and Agriculture Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar, and Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi.
