JAKARTA - The identity of the victim who died in Depok Smart, Berikat Nusantara Area (KBN), Jalan Medan Blok C 03, Marunda, Cilincing District, North Jakarta, has been known.

The victim was named Gransy Hermawan (43) from Ngawi, Central Java. However, from his identity card it was recorded that the victim lived on Jalan Marunda Baru, Gang 4, RW 06, Marunda Village, Cilincing.

"The victim died as a result of being hit by a side loader (heavy equipment for lifting and transporting containers) driven by the reported AS initials (36)," said Cilincing Police Chief, AKP Bobi Subasri when confirmed, Friday, February 27, afternoon.

From the results of the crime scene investigation, it was found that the victim was not an employee of Depo Smart.

"The victim is suspected of working as an expedition for sea cargo," he said.

Meanwhile, the results of the identification carried out by the North Jakarta Police Inafis Team, it was found that the victim suffered severe injuries to his body due to being hit by a forklift.

"The upper part can be identified and the victim is suspected of dying because he was run over by a side loader vehicle (heavy equipment for lifting and transporting containers)," he said.

Meanwhile, the victim's lower abdomen was found in a damaged condition due to being crushed so that it could not be identified.

Furthermore, after identification, the victim's body was sent to the Kramat Jati Polri Hospital, East Jakarta, for a Visum Et Revertum of the body.
