Koko Erwin Drug Dealer who Donated Rp1 Billion to Bima Police Chief is a Suspect

The lawyer for AKP Malaungi, Asmuni, showed his client's BAP sheet which featured a photo of a narcotics dealer who supplied crystal meth and a bribe of Rp1 billion named Koko Erwin / ANTARA / Dhimas B.P.

West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police has established a suspect status for Koko Erwin, a narcotics dealer who gave a bribe of Rp1 billion to AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro while serving as Bima City Police Chief.

The status of the suspect from the perpetrator who gave bribes through the intermediary of AKP Malaungi was confirmed by the Head of the NTB Police, Kombes Mohammad Kholid.

"Yes (Koko Erwin is a suspect)," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, February 20.

Regarding the next legal steps from the designation of Koko Erwin as a suspect, both in terms of examination and detention, Kombes Pol. Kholid asked for time.

"Yes, it is still in search and arrest, after that it will be issued a DPO (List of Search for People) status," he said.

The name, Koko Erwin, first appeared from a press conference held by AKP Malaungi's lawyer, Asmuni.

He said that his client in the examination report as a suspect in the case of circulation at the NTB Police Narcotics Investigation Directorate, had revealed all parties involved.

From the series of news reports at the police investigation, AKP Malaungi when he was the head of the Narcotics Unit of the Bima City Police admitted that he knew Koko Erwin as a drug dealer who gave him 488 grams of methamphetamine at the Marina Inn Hotel, Bima City at the end of 2025.

The handover of the crystal meth in five plastic bags was said to be a follow-up to the bribery of Rp1 billion from Koko Erwin.

AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro as the Head of the Bima City Police was also mentioned in the news about the examination, welcomed Koko Erwin's intention and arranged plans with his subordinates, AKP Malaungi, so that Koko Erwin's methamphetamine business ran smoothly in the jurisdiction of the Bima City Police.

For singing AKP Malaungi in front of investigators, now Koko Erwin and AKBP Didik officially have the status of a suspect.

However, for the suspicion of the article applied, the NTB Police have not given official information.

Meanwhile, information collected from the NTB Prosecutor's Office through the Assistant General Attorney, Irwan Setiawan Wahyuhafi, stated that his party received two Letters of Notification of the Start of Investigation (SPDP) from the NTB Police on Thursday (19/2). The SPDP is on behalf of AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro and Koko Erwin.

Regarding the narrative explaining the status of Koko Erwin and AKBP Didik in each SPDP, it was not further explained.
