Bank Jakarta collaborates with Persija Jakarta and the Jakmania supporter community to encourage community-based financial inclusion.

The collaboration was packaged in an event entitled From the Pitch to the Branch at one of Bank Jakarta's branch offices, Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

This activity connects the atmosphere of football with banking services. Persija players were present to greet supporters in a meeting and photo session. At the same time, participants received financial education as well as the convenience of opening an account and activating the JakOne Mobile mobile banking service at the event location.

Bank Jakarta President Director Agus H. Widodo said the community approach was considered effective to expand access to financial services.

"Through the theme From the Pitch to the Branch, we want to bring the energy and spirit of togetherness from the field into banking services. Financial inclusion means ensuring that every layer of society, including the supporter community, has access to safe, easy, and beneficial financial services," said Agus in a statement, Thursday, February 19.

In the agenda, Bank Jakarta also introduced a number of products, ranging from VISA logo debit cards, opening a savings account, using QRIS for non-cash transactions, to using mobile banking for daily needs. The socialization was carried out directly to supporters by involving Persija players as an attraction.

Bank Jakarta Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi said the collaboration with Persija was part of efforts to build a more inclusive financial ecosystem.

"We view sports, especially football, as a medium for strong interaction and activity of citizens. Through this collaboration, Bank Jakarta wants to ensure that financial inclusion is present in a tangible way, not only as a program, but as a joint movement to improve the welfare of the community," explained Arie.

This cooperation is not the first in the sports sector. Previously, Bank Jakarta also collaborated with Pelita Jaya Jakarta to expand literacy and access to financial services among the basketball community and the younger generation.

Through cross-sport collaboration, Bank Jakarta encourages the use of digital banking services in the match environment, supports the activities of surrounding MSMEs, and provides financial education for supporters and young athletes.

Bank Jakarta stated that it would continue similar programs in various communities as part of its strategy to expand the reach of services and strengthen the role of banking in promoting more inclusive economic growth in Jakarta.
