Viral Disturbance of Residents, Haji Nawi Padel Field Owner to Install Silencers

JAKARTA - The owner of the padel court in Haji Nawi Raya, Cilandak, South Jakarta is willing to limit the opening hours and install soundproofing related to noise complaints from local residents.

"We will strengthen the walls, so that the sound from the padel court can be muffled inside so that it does not disturb those outside," said a representative from PT Kreasi Arena Indonesia, Fourthwall Padel, Fajar Ediputra as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, February 19.

Fajar added that later in the process of installing soundproofing during Ramadan, his party would limit operations to 50 percent.

Later, the operating hours during fasting will be carried out from 14.00 to 19.00 WIB.

"So, during the fasting month, the installation of 'soundproofing' and also the restriction of operating hours," he said.

He emphasized that regarding the permit, his party felt that everything was running according to the rules.

According to him, the problem emerged because of the zoning between buildings and adjacent houses.

"If you follow the rules, in fact, in the field we still have 70 dB. The only problem is the zoning, which is directly adjacent to the house," he said.

Then, he promised that the installation of sound dampers would be carried out in 35 days.

He hopes that with this mediation, communication and problems between the two parties can be resolved for mutual comfort.

Previously, Gandaria Selatan Village became a mediator between the owner of the padel building and residents regarding noise in the Haji Nawi Raya area, Cilandak, South Jakarta since November 2025.

Residents in the area admitted that they had reported the noise as an impact of the padel field development to the relevant parties since November 2025.

On that occasion, his party conveyed a demand that the management install a sound damper or stop operations.
