4 Drunk People Attacked Employees and Cafe Visitors in Jaksel

JAKARTA - Four unidentified people and suspected of being drunk attacked employees and visitors to a coffee shop in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, on Monday, February 16, 2026 at 04.30 WIB.

"On Monday, February 16 at 04.30 WIB in the morning, there was an act of persecution against us by unknown people," said the victim named Anggun to reporters in Jakarta, Wednesday.

Anggun said the perpetrators were suspected of being drunk and rampaging blindly so that many people became victims.

He and his colleagues were also victims of the violence. Those who were at the scene of the incident were battered, bruised on the body, head and legs to the point of bleeding.

"One of them is that we are the victims of beatings," he said.

Not only that, the perpetrators also damaged the facilities at the coffee shop.

As a result of the attack and persecution, the victim reported to the South Jakarta Metro Police (Jaksel) by submitting a number of evidence including the results of the autopsy.

"We have reported and there is evidence of the visa so that it can be followed up immediately and the perpetrator can be quickly arrested and punished," he said.
