As a result of the incident, both victims suffered gunshot wounds and received medical treatment. After carrying out the action, the perpetrator fled.
After the incident, on Friday (13/2) at around 06.30 WIB, officers received information from the public regarding the whereabouts of a suspicious man who was walking while carrying a number of items.
Based on this information, the team then conducted a search to Balinuraga Village, Way Panji District. The perpetrator was found in a substation and was immediately secured without resistance.
"Thanks to the quick work of members in the field and information from the community, we were able to secure the perpetrator. Currently, the suspect has been detained to undergo further legal proceedings," he said.
