He said the disclosure of the circulation of 60 kilograms of methamphetamine was a joint work of the Aceh Directorate General of Customs and Excise, Langsa Customs, and the Narcotics Directorate of the Customs Directorate General with the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) RI and Aceh.
Bier Budy said the discovery of 60 kg of methamphetamine began with the development of smuggling 100 kilograms of methamphetamine in the East Peureulak area, East Aceh Regency, in January 2026.

"The team found three sacks containing methamphetamine-type narcotics with a total weight of about 60 kilograms. The evidence was hidden in two separate places, namely one sack at the grocery stall in front of the house and the other two sacks around the goat pen behind the house," he said.
